Brighter Futures for Women

Empowering Lives Through Community Support

our mission is to transform the lives of women who have suffered from domestic violence. Our new initiative, "Brighter Futures for Women," is designed to offer comprehensive support to these women through a series of carefully crafted programs and activities.

Project Overview

The “Brighter Futures for Women” project aims to uplift and support women who have experienced domestic violence. We offer recreational activities, friendship-building initiatives, and psychological support sessions. Our goal is to provide these women with opportunities for healing, empowerment, and social integration.

Our Goals

We are targeting to assist 500 women across Gateshead, Newcastle, Sunderland, South Shields, and Durham. This project is built upon the generous support from the Community Fund Grant of £20,000. However, to achieve our ambitious goal, we need additional funding to extend our reach and impact.

Achievements and Support

Make a difference in the community

Funding Achieved:

Community Fund Grant: £20,000 for the “Brighter Futures for Women” project.

Partnerships and Support:

  • Partnered with Connected Voice and other local organizations.
  • Received logistical support from Gateshead Council.
  • Approved for a $120,000 annual Google Ads Grant to increase visibility and outreach.

Current Needs

We are targeting 500 girls, but the current support only covers 100 girls. We need to expand the project to reach 500 girls within two years. We require new partners and additional grants to add activities and programs to reach a larger number. We still need support for this project.
